Imagining the Real

Interactive, inter-generational drama workshops

With thanks to PAVO’s Social Value Forum Development Fund, we held a series of intergenerational workshops here at the Willow Globe. These popular sessions were led by Ian Yeoman and Rebecca Wallbank. We started with a pilot weekend in October 2022 and followed up with four more sessions in December, February and March.

Essentially the sessions were an exploration of five universal themes through drama and play that were socially explored, expanded and became stories. With ages ranging from 7 to 70 plus, we made the stories happen...and the stories happened to us.

On each occasion a problem; a puzzle; a responsibility. We explored creatively - young and old - what makes us human, and what might make us more human.
