The Willow Globe Company come together for this late summer offering – a specially staged and rehearsed reading, with music and costume, of Henry IV parts 1 & 2.

These two plays lie at the heart of Shakespeare’s history cycle, introducing us to the young prince Hal who will later become the victorious Henry V of Agincourt.

Amongst a cast of colourful characters we meet the charismatic Pistol, Doll, Tearsheet, Mistress Quickly, the mighty Falstaff and our own local hero Owain Glyndwr.

A musical score especially composed by Alan Oberman will link the action and between the two plays the Herb Garden Café will serve an Elizabethan supper of pork, possets, pies and vegetarian delights.
