We are delighted to be hosting the Mid Wales Music Trust residency with Rhayader primary school. This project is now in it's third year- with the MWMT inviting different local primary schools each year. The pupils work with some outstanding professional puppet makers, musicians, actors and of course our own Shakespeare Link Directors to richly explore a chosen text.
Shakespeare Link have run workshops and residencies in diverse settings and with diverse participants all over the world for 25 years. Please get in touch if you are interested in us running a similar project for you or your organisation- either at the Willow Globe or elsewhere.
“It couldn’t have been much better, but we would have liked more verses to the songs we created and to have more time there because it was amazing. I really didn’t want to leave. I give it 10/10 and Rhys gives it 10/10” (Dylan and Rhys)
“we really enjoyed the Art, Craft, Acting, Writing Songs and especially doing the final play because it was fun and exciting for the audience because they didn't just sit there watching us they actually went on the adventure and it was as if they were like actually in the magical world.” (Katie and Ava)
“Thank you all for that brilliant time at the Willow globe, we all really enjoyed it. In the future you should change nothing because it was really good, funny and enjoyable. We think that the whole play all together was incredible.”(Gabrielle and Rosie)
“I don't have a favourite part because i loved every bit of the performance. From the 1st day we were there to the last day I really enjoyed every second of the experience and had loads of fun making new friends from Franksbridge and putting the whole performance together. (Thomas)
