Please note that unfortunately we have had to postpone the morning workshop but hope to reschedule later in the year. The afternoon lecture will be fascinating and punctuated with a medley of scenes from Shakespeare.

2:30-5:30pm Gwyn Daniel in conversation with Gill Gorell Barnes. Family therapist and author Gwyn Daniel will share some themes from her book Family Dramas illustrated with a selection of compelling family scenes, performed by Willow Globe actors.

Gwyn Daniel is a systemic psychotherapist and trainer at the Tavistock Clinic who has experience of working in both children's services and in adult mental health. She has run workshops on this topic in many different locations within the UK as well as in Ireland, Italy, Slovenia, Palestine, India and Australia. As well as her new book on Family Dramas in Shakespeare She is co-author (with Bernadette Wren) of ‘Narrative therapy with families where a parent has a mental health problem’ in Vetere and Dowling (eds) and ‘Narrative work with children and their families’, Brunner- Routledge 2005.

Gwyn will be joined by a great friend of Shakespeare Link and the Willow Globe Gill Gorell Barnes- one of the UK’s leading child and family social workers and therapists.
