Macbeth - Stage Five (Saturday 7th evening)

"Things bad begun make strong themselves by ill."

Shakespeare's telling of a ruthless hunger for power is as relevant today as it has ever been. Are the Macbeths driven by ambition, deceived by the forces of chaos or victims of fate? In a world in which the supernatural is always present, this production sets Shakespeare’s tragedy in a timeless era, and focuses on passion and deception as the driving forces in this great tale of evil intent.

Stage Five is a new company formed by Pam Johnson who, together with many of the Macbeth cast, brought Richard III to the Willow Globe in 2019.

Tickets: Adults £12, U16s £6, Family ticket £30
